“The Conjuring 2” Review

Hello! Today I am doing a review of The Conjuring 2. This movie is the sequel to The Conjuring. This movie follows two paranormal investigators, Ed and Loraine Warren, who go to a family’s house who are experiencing paranormal activity. The family’s daughter, Janet, has a mans demonic voice speaking through her and possessing her.

Warning- This review does not include extreme spoilers and I try not to include any,but if you hate being told anything about the movie besides the plot, I recommend to stop reading. If not, enjoy!

As I said in my previous review, on The Conjuring, I said that my favorite thing about these movies is that it has true backstories. At the credits at the end of this movie, their were pictures of the real people who had this paranormal experience. For a few of the actors, such as Janet, look EXACTLY like the real girl from the real case. Its crazy how hey found someone that looks so alike.

One thing i liked about the movie is how they showed how the media and interviews the Warrens do are doubting their cases and think they are lying about their paranormal experiences. They actually started to take a break from their job, because they knew no one was believing them anymore.

One thing I didn’t like that much though, was how they showed a lot of the relationship of Ed and Loraine. I guess it was nice, but i don’t think it belonged in that scary of a movie.

Some movies have certain faces of the scary thing they are focusing on that is absolutely terrifying. Such as the demon in Sinister, which is a lot of the reason why that is probably the scariest movies i have seen. For some reason that guys face just haunts me. And another one i have just seen today, is the face of that demon woman who was haunting Janet.

Overall, I rate this movie a 3.8/5 stars.

Anyway, that will be the end of my review. Thank you for reading and make sure to follow my blog to get notified when i post a new review. Leave a comment on your take on The Conjuring 2 or leave a requested movie for me to review. Bye!

“The Conjuring” Review

Hello! I just got back from seeing The Conjuring 2, and I am about to write a review about that, but I thought first i should do a review on the first one.The Conjuring is about two paranormal investigators and demonologists who are called to a family’s house who have been experiencing paranormal things.

Warning- This review does not include extreme spoilers and I try not to include any,but if you hate being told anything about the movie besides the plot, I recommend to stop reading. If not, enjoy!

My favorite thing about this series of movies, ( The Conjuring, The Conjuring 2, Annabelle),  is that they are all true stories. The two main characters, Ed and Loraine Warren, are real paranormal investigators who have studied these cases. In real life, Loraine Warren is still alive, at 89 years old.

When movies are based on true events,I think it make it so much scarier, of course. I like the movie so much better. In the credits of The Conjuring, they showed the people who really existed in the case next to the people playing them. I have noticed the resemblance is crazy and I really like how they casted.

I really enjoyed this movie, and it is one of my favorite scary movies. I really enjoyed how the family had their game, “Hide and Clap.” When the mom is at the top of the stairs with her blindfold on, and the hands clap behind her, it scares me half to death.

My only complaint about the movie is how the dog died. I understand how it was just an effect of the demons in their house, but it was very sad and i didn’t like it haha. I always hate the deaths of animals portrayed in movies more that the deaths of people.

Overall, I rate this movie a 4/5 stars.

Anyway, that will be the end of my review. Thank you for reading and make sure to follow my blog to get notified when i post a new review. Leave a comment on your take on The Conjuring or leave a requested movie for me to review. Bye!
